Our vision is to inspire excellence, build character and promote higher learning by investing in highly talented and intelligent children that are keen to succeed academically and beyond but come from families in financially deprived and/or socially difficult circumstances to help them achieve a high quality of life, better career opportunities and thus exit the vicious cycle of poverty.
Our
support aims at going beyond academic achievements. We support scholars in career
development and developing key social and life skills by teaching decision making,
helping them recognize their unique skills, gifts and talents and stimulating their
intellectual curiosity.
We
therefore provide a unique platform where everyone can join hands to support young
people to realize their dreams and ambitions by contributing to the funding of any
of the five programs and/or by volunteering valuable time to support the mentorship
and tutoring programs.
We focus on young scholars from financially and/or social deprived families in rural and remote areas. We seek to contribute to the improvement of the quality of educational output by instilling an unwavering resolve in these young scholars to want succeed despite the many obstacles and barriers they face. Though the creation of community day secondary schools have increased access to education in rural areas and is critical for the education of the majority of students in Malawi, many such schools, are poorly resourced and equipped and have limited access physical and technological amenities.
